There is way too much consumerism going on. I saw Christmas items on sale at local stores in August!! Now I hear stores are opening at 9 or 11 on Thanksgiving night with sales for black Friday shoppers. I avoid all stores this time of year. I did get an email today from Mother Earth News advertising their Black Friday Sales. Seriously, when Mother Earth News gets into the shopping frenzy it’s gotten really bad.
If they can claim to give you 80% off, they really must be ripping people off the rest of the year. They certainly wouldn’t be selling at below cost. I agree with you. Only the stupid will get sucked in and we know how many stupid people there are around!
