Recent political machinations both globally and here at home have been challenging to say the least.

However, seeing this rainbow this afternoon reminds me that a rainbow can hold deep symbolic meaning across cultures and can represent hope, new beginnings, diversity and the promise of brighter days.

My spirit feels lighter already.
